How did I get infected with?

Redaman does not target individual victims. The Trojan uses mass-distribution methods to reach a broad spectrum of potential victims. It uses torrents, fake updates, corrupted links, and, of course, spam emails. The thing is, these methods cannot succeed without your “help.” The Trojan preys on your naivety. It needs you to click on the corrupted links, to open the spam emails, to install the fake updates. Don’t make its job easier. Choose caution over carelessness. One keeps the parasites away, the other – invites them in. Don’t visit shady websites. Be careful what you install. And treat all unexpected messages as potential threats. If you receive such a message, don’t open it. Verify its sender first. If, for example, you receive an email from an organization, go to their official website. Compare the email addresses listed there to the suspicious one. If they don’t match, delete the pretender immediately. The key to a secure and infection-free computer is caution. No anti-virus app can protect you if you act recklessly. Always take the time to do your due diligence.

Why is this dangerous?

Redaman Trojan is extremely dangerous. It loads together with your OS and follows your every activity. The parasite knows your system parameters, IP and MAC addresses, program settings, etc. If you let it roam your OS, it may also discover other, more sensitive, information. The parasite waits for you to reveal your usernames, passwords, banking details, and email addresses. This parasite is after your personal and financial information. Can you imagine the consequences if it succeeds? The hackers behind it may drain your bank accounts, and get you in serious trouble. Redaman is very, very hazardous. It has no place on your computer. The more time you grant it, the worse your situation becomes. Do not forget that this Trojan, like any other parasite of this category, is a security breach. It might “help” other parasites to infect your system. From annoying adware parasites to dangerous ransomware viruses, anything may get on your OS. Do not wait to see what the hackers plan for your device. Take action against the Trojan. Remove it before it gets a chance to cause irreversible damage. The sooner Redaman is gone, the better!
