When installing a program, opt for advanced setup method. If you are installing a bundle, proceed with caution. Developers often attach malicious apps to the installation files of many free programs. Install only the tools you trust. If you suspect that there is something wrong with apps you are about to install, there probably is a good reason for that. Trust your instincts, abort the installation immediately. Download your programs from reliable websites only. If you see a message stating that an app of yours needs an update, go to the vendor’s official website. Download the newest version from there. If you continue to see the update notice, your PC is probably infected. Run a full system scan with a trustworthy anti-virus program. Be always vigilant. Your caution can spare you tons of troubles.

The AVBoost adware is extremely annoying. This app uses a pay-per-click marketing system. For every ad you click on, the owners of the malicious tool will be paid. This is the reason why you see so many apps. This is also the reason why so many shady businesses are using the hijacker to promote. The owners of this app don’t care about your security. They spread malicious content via hijackers. We often say that browser hijackers act as open doors for online threats. If you click on a corrupted link or ad, a virus may be downloaded directly on your computer. There is no way to tell which ads are corrupted and which are not. Therefore, don’t click on any commercials while your PC remains infected. This task, however, is easier said than done. The adware will try to trick you into clicking on an ad unintentionally.
