How did I get infected with?

To operate on your device, the ScreenUp adware needs your permission. And you provided it. Do you remember installing programs recently? What installation process did you use? The standard or the advanced one? If you prefer the standard method, you must change your habits. Developers tend to attach extra software to the installation files of many free programs. If you use the standard installation, those extras will be automatically installed. You will not even realize that they were attached. The problem is, those third-party attachments are often more dangerous than useful. To prevent the installation of such extras, use the advanced installation wizard. This process is not complicated.
