Can’t Remove Our Lucky Sites Virus? This page includes detailed OurLuckySites.com Removal instructions!
OurLuckySites (OurLuckySites.com) isn’t your lucky search engine. It promises to provide accurate, safe web links. However, it demolishes your entire browsing experience instead. This is a classic browser hijacker. The virus fully justifies its name and takes over all your once trustworthy browsers. You see, hijackers are quite a pest. They mess with your preferred browser settings behind your back. Furthermore, they expose you to malware. OurLuckySites starts harassing you the moment it gets installed. Your default search engine and homepage get altered. Of course, your permission isn’t in any way involved. We’re talking about a nasty cyber infection. It was never supposed to enhance your experience. On the other hand, it was supposed to help cyber criminals gain profit. How does the scheme work? As mentioned, both your search engine and browser homepage get modified. They are now replaced by the parasite’s domain. Needless to say, this is a highly questionable, dangerous domain. The one thing it provides you is quick access to sponsored web links. That means you have to stay away from anything displayed by this pest. Clicking its web links simply isn’t a risk worth taking. You might land on websites filled with malware. Eventually, you could compromise your device much further. We assume you aren’t trying to download more infections. Then why tolerate the parasite’s shenanigans? Do the right thing concerning your safety and avoid the OurLuckySites search results. Avoid its commercials as well. The virus adds an extension or a plugin to your browsers so you might come across pop-ups. Various pop-ups. All the time. In this case, you can consider your browsing activities completely destroyed. The stubborn pop-ups are just as annoying as they are worthless. In addition, they are unsafe. Keep in mind that this hijacker has numerous tricks up its sleeve. Keeping it on your device would be a huge mistake. OurLuckySites redirects you to some specific websites and causes you browsers to freeze/crash. The parasite’s unwanted presence on board leads to a poor PC performance. As a result, using your very own computer becomes a rather challenging task. Before this hijacker gets out of hand, take measures.
How did I get infected with?
Chances are, you didn’t use the official website of this program. It doesn’t offer a download button. In the future, know this is a tell-tale sign of an infection. If its page has no download option, the program is probably unreliable. Then how did OurLuckySites slither itself onto your computer system? It applied some of the common infiltration techniques. Number one method is called freeware/shareware bundling. Why is it such a popular method? Because it’s incredibly effective. Next time you download bundled programs, opt for the Custom or Advanced option. Take your time. If you notice some undesirable bonus added to the bundle, deselect it. Rushing the installation leaves your device vulnerable to infections. Don’t overlook any potential threat and always keep an eye out for malware. It is your responsibility to prevent virus infiltration. As you know already, the Internet is full of unsafe programs. Be cautious when browsing the Web. Another famous trick involves spam messages and spam email-attachments. Those could turn out to be very dangerous as well. Delete what you don’t trust. You may save yourself quite the trouble that way. Last but not least, stay away from third-party pop-ups, suspicious torrents and program updates.
Why is this dangerous?
None of your browsers are reliable anymore. Thanks to the virus, they all redirect you to unknown websites. Your computer speed is slowed to a crawl and your Internet connection becomes unstable. OurLuckySites makes unauthorized modifications on a daily basis. It injects your browsers with sponsored, tailored and potentially harmful web links. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer all fall victims to this trick. The hijacker claims that it would be beneficial for you. In reality, it exposes you to threats and jeopardizes both your safety and privacy. Hackers now have free access to your sensitive browsing-related data. For example, they spy on your IP addresses, browsing history, passwords, usernames and email addresses. Those are the very last people who should be monitoring your details. Financial scams and identity theft are two horrifying scenarios you must prevent. To do so, please follow our detailed manual removal guide down below.
