How did I get infected with?

The key is to keep the PC user oblivious about the installation. How is that even possible, you may ask? You’ll be surprised to know how many techniques infections use. Malware is extremely sneaky and relies on some super unfair techniques. For example, program bundles. Cooks take advantage of the fact most people rush the installation. This way they end up downloading parasites among the safe software. A rule of thumb for the future – take your time. When installing bundles, opt for the custom or advanced option in the Setup Wizard. You have to be able to spot any potential intruder on time. Otherwise, you will be forced to uninstall the virus afterwards. And that’s much more problematic and time-consuming. All sorts of malicious parasites travel the Web bundled. Stay away from unverified pages and illegitimate program packages. If you notice some untrustworthy “bonus” in the bundle, just deselect it. Another thing you must keep in mind is to avoid spam messages and emails. This is actually the oldest infiltration trick used by infections. One simple click on a corrupted email is more than enough to compromise your PC.
