How did I get infected with?

The WhiteClick adware did surprise you with its appearance, you will be even more surprised to discover who installed it! It was you. You let the parasite infect your OS. This is not a bad joke. No adware can infect your computer without your consent. Confused? Let’s explain. The WhiteClick adware is a simple application. And just like any other app, it needs your, the user’s, approval. The parasite has no chose but to ask if you agree to its admission. So, why did you approve its installation? Because you were too naive! You either rushed through an installation process or downloaded a fake update. The adware might have arrived hidden in a torrent or in a spam email. All these methods can be prevented from succeeding. All you should do is to keep your guard up. Be especially careful when you install new programs. When available, always select the Advanced/Custom installation option. If additional programs are about to be installed, deselect them. You don’t need these extras. If you truly wanted them, you would’ve downloaded them by yourself. This is your computer. You decide what to be installed on it. Don’t let others make this decision for you. Deselect all unwanted apps. One more thing. Before you click that “Accept” button, read the terms and conditions. Don’t skip this step. If you cannot spare enough time to read the whole document, use an online EULA analyzer to scan it. If you detect anything out of the ordinary, abort the installation. The key to a secure and infection-free computer is caution. Even a little extra attention goes a long way. So, don’t be lazy. Always do your due diligence!

Why is this dangerous?

The WhiteClick adware should not be tolerated. This parasite is annoying and very dangerous. The parasite interferes with your every online step. It doesn’t matter whether you type a search inquiry or watch a video, the adware annoys you. It bombards with countless ads. Each one of which poses a risk!
