How did I get infected with?

Word Wizard tends to sneak into your system undetected by using your carelessness as a means of infiltration. It preys on your distraction, naivety, and haste and manages to dupe you into agreeing to install it. And, it doesn’t just fool you into installing it, it also keeps you oblivious that you did. Do you wish to know how it does that, especially considering it’s bound to ask for your permission before installation? Oh, yes. The application cannot enter your system unless you give it the green light. That’s why it has come up with an entire array of ways to use to trick you into permitting its install. Some of the more commonly used ones include hiding behind spam email attachments, corrupted links or sites, or freeware. Also, Word Wizard often tends to pose as a bogus system or program update, like Adobe Flash Player or Java. Do you see the common characteristic the means of invasion share? They all rely on your lack of attention. So, don’t rush and don’t throw caution to the wind, and you just might succeed in keeping your system adware-free.

Why are these ads dangerous?

Word Wizard commences a full-on bombardment o pop-up advertisements shortly after it slithers into your system. But there’s a purpose for that immense intrusion. And, no. It’s not to infuriate you to no end. That’s just an unpleasant side effect. The reason for the endless flood of pop-ups is the fact that the application is ad-supported. That means that if the tool is to proceed with its operations, it has to generate pay-per-click revenue and web traffic for the people that published it. If it fails to do so, they take it down, and it ceases to exist. So, naturally, Word Wizard does everything in its power to avoid that. Since each ad you click on produces profits, the tool makes sure to throw the right ads your way. Don’t think you see just some random ads. Oh, no. Each one was carefully selected for you, and you alone. To be best-suited to determine which ads are ‘appropriate’ for you, the application studies you. It observes your online activities and based on your likes, it picks the pop-ups to show you. But no matter how appealing they seem, do NOT press even a single one! If you do, all you’ll have to show for it is more unwanted malware. Unfortunately, Word Wizard doesn’t merely monitor your browsing. It also keeps a thorough record of every move you make, and then sends the collected data to the third parties that support it. Are you ready to hand your personal and financial information to strangers? Make no mistake. If you don’t remove Word Wizard from your PC the very first chance you get, that WILL happen. You WILL grant unknown people with unclear agendas access to your private life. Don’t. Get rid of Word Wizard the first chance you get. You won’t regret it.
