How did I get infected with?

The WIZZCASTER.EXE infection turns to the usual antics to slither into your system. More often than not, it turns to spam email attachments or corrupted links. It can also pretend to be a bogus update. For example, you may believe you’re updating your Adobe Flash Player, but you’d be wrong. In reality, you’ll be giving the green light to a Trojan infection. Its sneakiness doesn’t end there. It can also attach itself to freeware. And, if you aren’t thorough when examining the terms and conditions, it just might slip past you. In fact, each method of invasion the cyber threat uses, relies on your carelessness. That’s why it’s so crucial to be extra careful, and not rush. You must always do your due diligence, and be cautious. If not, you increase your chances to get stuck with an infection. Don’t leave your PC’s fate, as well as your own by extension, to luck. Leave nothing to chance. Be thorough. Be vigilant. Take your time. Don’t throw caution to the wind.

Why is this dangerous?

WIZZCASTER.EXE is quite the stubborn infection. It latches itself to your system, and refuses to leave until you remove it. You must take grave actions to deal with this grave threat. Don’t think it will just go away on its own. Don’t be naive. It won’t. Instead, it will fester and get worse as time passes. What starts off as minor intrusions can end up as a severe privacy issue. Once the infection settles, its array of unpleasantries commences. It makes it difficult for you to open certain applications. It bombards you with pop-up ads, and redirects you to unreliable websites. It causes frequent system crashes, and slows down your PC. It modifies your registry entries without seeking your approval, or informing you. It hides or deletes program files, which is why you can experience unexpected errors. WIZZCASTER.EXE makes a huge mess. And, as was already mentioned, the Trojan threatens to expose your private life. That’s because the infection spies on your browsing. It keeps track of every move you make, and catalogs it. Then, it sends the gathered data to the third parties that published it. Think about that. Unknown individuals with unclear intentions. Strangers with access to your personal and financial information. And, once they get their hands on it, they can use it as they see fit. Do you think that will end well?
