Remove Weatherping Pop-up Ads from Chrome/Firefox/IE

Can’t Remove Weatherping ads? This page includes detailed ads by Weatherping Removal instructions!

Weatherping is a malicious and hazardous browser add-on that brings you nothing but troubles, misery, and headaches despite claiming to do the exact opposite. Oh, yes. The program claims to do many things, all of them positive. Unfortunately, reality quite differs from the picture Weatherping is painting. The application’s selling point is that it makes searching and translating information online a breeze. Supposedly, the whole process is made simple, quick, and easy. All you have to do is go online, highlight the text you see, and then the tool will browse Wikipedia and Bing, and display the results it has found in an in-page window. You won’t need to open additional windows or perform other, separate searches. Weatherping does everything for you! It’s reliable and helpful. Or so it states. The good news is: the tool’s claims do indeed sound fantastic! The bad news is: they only sound fantastic but are, in fact, bogus, made-up, and utterly unsubstantiated. Don’t place your faith in this hazardous and highly damaging infection! It will only lead to myriads of troubles, including a bombardment of pop-up ads, a slower PC performance, frequent system crashes, and a severe malware risk. And also the worst issue of all – the security threat. Weatherping jeopardizes your personal and financial information by spying on you from the moment it settles in your system. It gathers data from you, and then sends it to the unknown individuals that published it. The question is, are you going to let it succeed? Don’t. Protect yourself and your PC, and delete the obnoxious add-on at once. It’s for the best.

How did I get infected with?

How do you suppose you got stuck with Weatherping? One day, it just pops up out of the blue and starts wreaking havoc, but how do you think it managed to infiltrate your system? The answer is, through you. Oh, yes. It’s because of you. After all, such tools cannot enter your computer without first getting your explicit permission to do so. If you don’t agree to install it, it stays out, which is why Wheaterping has come up with a multitude of ways to trick you into permitting it in. Naturally, the old but gold means of invasion are always fair game, but the application’s most preferred method is by far through freeware. It provides possibly the easiest entry point mostly because, for reasons beyond our comprehension, users pay little to no attention during its installation. They rush the whole process, and instead of being extra thorough when familiarizing themselves with the terms and conditions, they throw caution to the wind. Users just say ‘Yes’ to everything, and rely on luck. Don’t do that! Don’t be so naive as to leave everything to chance. Do your due diligence, and don’t give into distraction, naivety, and haste. And, if you do, don’t expect anything positive to come out of it.

Why are these ads dangerous?

Weatherping is an ad-supported software utility designed to exploit you in any way possible. It’s programmed to generate pay-per-click revenue and web traffic for the third parties behind it if it is to proceed with its operations. If it fails to do so, the people that published it, take it down, and it’s no more. So, naturally, the tool does everything in its power to keep that from happening. How do you imagine it fulfills its goal? Well, via its never-ending supply of pop-up ads, of course. Shortly after the tool sneaks into your system, it begins a full-on bombardment of advertisements “Powered by Weatherping”. They pop up and disrupt your browsing every time you try to go online, without fail. And, each time you’re foolish enough to press one, you’ll severely regret it.Why? Well, a click only results in you unknowingly agreeing to install more unwanted malware on your computer. To prevent even more malicious tools from plaguing your system, and yourself, make sure NOT to click on even a  single ad, be it by choice or accident. Unfortunately, as severe as the threat of unwilling malware installations is, it still pales in comparison to the security risk mentioned above. Why don’t you do yourself a favor, and avoid dealing with Weatherping’s ever-growing pile of daily messes? Delete the tool as soon as you spot the first pop-up advertisement “Brough to you by Weatherping”. You won’t regret it, and you can be sure your future self will be quite grateful for this timely reaction.
