We all need a little assistance in our daily web browsing. A toolbar is the best solution for many of us. Yet, there are malicious extensions which are more of an obstacle than of a real aid. One such trickster is the TelevisionAce Toolbar. This utility is classified as Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) and a Browser Hijacker. Upon infiltration, this app infects all installed browsers. It adds its malicious extension and modifies their settings. The TelevisionAce toolbar changes both your homepage and default search engine. From this point onward, every ad banner, in-text advert and video commercial you are exposed to is provided by the hijacker. This tool blocks its competitors’ content and replaces it with its own. Thus, it limits your sources of information. Basically, for every ad you click on, the owners of the hijacker will be paid. And so, their creation will flood you with commercials. The TelevisionAce toolbar injects extra ad banners, in-text adverts and hyperlinks on every web page you visit. It can also pause your online videos for commercial breaks and, of course, redirect your browser to sponsored pages. Every time you try to follow a link, additional tabs will open in your browser. You will hate the experience. If you don’t take immediate measures, the hijacker will get even more aggressive. This furtive utility knows no boundaries. It will not stop its marketing campaign. Ad-blocking tools are useless against it. You will notice that your device underperforms. This is due to the hijacker running its malicious processes in the background. This tool will cause your browser to freeze and crash frequently. Some older machines may also experience system crashes. And this leads to data loss and a lot of frustration. Don’t hesitate to remove the TelevisionAce toolbar. You have nothing to lose. Yet, the rewards will be tenfold!
