Remove PlayFizz Ads from Chrome/Firefox/IE

Can’t Remove PlayFizz ads? This page includes detailed ads by PlayFizz Removal instructions!

PlayFizz is a potentially unwanted adware program. It’s an ad-supported application, which is bad news for you as it means that the tool will continuously flood you with pop-ups. Why? Well, because the only way for it to proceed with its operations is if it generates web traffic and pay-per-click revenue for the people behind it. If it fails to produce profits for these unknown third parties, it ceases to exist. Each ad it fools you into clicking on brings it one step closer to fulfilling its primary objective, which is to use you to make money for these unknown individuals. Hence, the waterfall of pop-ups. And, not just any pop-ups, but ones that were chosen specifically for you and you alone. But no matter how appealing they are, ignore them! If you’re naive enough to click on even a single pop-up, you’ll regret it instantly. A click, be it by choice or accident, results in you unwillingly agreeing to install malware on your computer. As if all of these issues aren’t enough, you’ll also be faced with a severe security risk. The application threatens your personal and financial information by spying on you. When it steals a sufficient amount of data from you, it proceeds to send it to the strangers behind it. The question is, are you going to allow it to succeed? Are you willing to gamble with your private life? Think long and hard before you answer.

How did I get infected with?

PlayFizz is a resourceful application that prays on your gullibility, distraction, and haste to slither into your system. The tool is so masterful in its slyness and subtlety that, it not only successfully sneaks in, but it does so without you even realizing it. By the time you become aware of its existence, the damage is already done. If you’re wondering how it manages to achieve that, it’s quite straightforward. The program usually hitches a ride in with freeware. It’s one of the easiest access points as most users don’t pay nearly as enough attention as they should during its installation. Instead of carefully familiarizing themselves with the terms and conditions, they just agree to all of them and hope for the best. That’s a horrible idea that has a disastrous outcome. Don’t throw caution to the wind and don’t rush! Be more careful and you might just avoid getting stuck with adware such as PlayFizz.

Why are these ads dangerous?

As was already mentioned, PlayFizz is an ad-supported application. Since its existence depends on its ability to dupe you into clicking on its pop-ups, it does everything it can to increase its chances of success. And, since each click counts, the tool makes sure each ad counts, as well. How? Well, it studies you. After it manages to infect your PC, it begins to monitor your browsing so as to understand what your preferences include. When it learns what you like and dislike, the program picks the appropriate ads to throw your way. The ads, which have the best chance of sparking your interest and result in a click, i.e. cash. But don’t fall victim to the application’s deceit! No matter how enticing the ads seem, ignore them! The tool’s pop-ups are immensely unreliable and pose a grave malware threat. If you click just once on either one of the pop-ups, you WILL get stuck with malware. It’s inevitable. So, avoid pressing the pop-ups. Unfortunately, the threat of more unwanted malevolent tools slithering into your system will seem like a non-issue compared to the security risk the application places upon you. That’s because PlayFizz doesn’t only observe your online habits. It keeps a record of everything you do, and when it determines it has gathered enough data, proceeds to send it to the third parties behind it. Then these people can use it as they see fit, and there’s nothing you can do to stop them. Are you willing to grant access to your private life to strangers with questionable intentions? It’s up to you to decide.
