Corrupted ads and links, torrents, file-sharing networks and spam emails. These are just the most commonly used malware distribution techniques. The Internet is bursting with parasites. They are waiting for you to make a mistake. Let’s take the bundling method for an example. Developers would add extra programs to the installation files of many free applications. That is all. Everything else depends on you. If you are careless, you will overlook the advanced installation option. If you do so, if you select the standard installation, all additional programs will be installed on your computer. You will not be asked. Your approval won’t be needed. And what is more frustrating, you may not even realize what has happened until it is too late. You can prevent this situation. All you need to do is to be vigilant. When installing a program, opt for advanced tab or button. Under the custom installation, you will be presented with a list of all extra apps that are about to be installed. Deselect all of them. You don’t need them. Don’t rush. Consider the situation. If you truly needed such tools, you would have downloaded them by yourself. The adware might have slipped inside your PC using this method. Or it might have arrived via spam email. In both cases, your vigilance could have stopped it.

Why is dangerous?

The adware is extremely annoying. It will bombard you with tons of ads. Coupons, discounts and great deals will blink in all imaginable colors. As useful as these adverts may seem, they are not great deal-finders. The adware creates a virtual layer which forces ads on all open websites, as well as, block content from its competitors. You will see only what the furtive tool allows you to see. Soon, you will lose track of the current prices. The adware is turning you into an easy target. Don’t put up with this. Delete this parasite now! Dealing with this tool for a while, you must have noticed that all ads are somewhat connected to your interests and needs. No, you are definitely not imagining it. The adware knows what you are searching for. Literally. It monitors your online activities. Which pages you visit, browsing history and, of course, your search inquiries. The app uses that information to select advertisements that will appeal to you. However, it is also selling the data to third parties. You won’t be so surprised once we tell you that your user names, passwords and email addresses may be a part of the sold data. Unfortunately, it is true. The adware can steal such information. Therefore, do yourself a favor and remove this parasite immediately. The sooner, the better.
