Can’t Remove IQIYI ads? This page includes detailed ads by IQIYI Removal instructions!
IQIYI is a relatively new Chinese parasite. However, it could enter your PC system no matter where on the globe you currently are thanks to the miracles of global communications in the twenty-first century. The IQIYI program appears out of the blue, modifies all of your browsers, slows down your machine and constantly annoys you with its never-ending pile of pop-ups. Unfortunately, this nasty thing is widely spread over the Web so it’s not hard getting infected. It’s not hard protecting yourself either and yet many people end up stuck with this adware and don’t know what to do about it. That’s why we’ve prepared this article to shed some light on the weird IQIYI parasite and you will also find a detailed removal guide down below. Trust us, you will especially need the removal guide. IQIYI’s presence is a sign of trouble so unless you want to witness all manipulations that this parasite is capable of, you will remove it as soon as possible. The virus has been classified as a PUP (potentially unwanted program) and having in mind that its official website is entirely in Chinese, we could easily understand why PC users find it rather difficult to deal with the virus. Once it gets to your computer, the IQIYI infection will surely create a mess. This is a very resourceful and at the same time quite tricky parasite so its presence has all the potential to end catastrophically for you. Don’t allow it! Remember that it depends on you to take care of your machine so if removing an irritating adware infection is what is takes to protect your safety, then so be it.
How did I get infected with?
Parasites have the freedom to infect you all over the world so you should know that they also have a rich variety of ways to do so. For example, it’s not an unusual thing for a virus to travel the Web via spam email-attachments or messages. This is a very old trick, however, so you’re prepared for it. Cyber crooks could be very inventive when they have to, so they constantly search for new infiltration methods that might catch you off guard. Freeware bundling is one of them. You probably don’t expect to corrupt your own computer without noticing and yet that is precisely how it goes in most cases. Remember, it’s incredibly important to remain attentive and in control of the installation process unless you want to install a virus as well. It’s highly recommended that you opt for the advanced or custom option in the Setup Wizard. This way you can deselect anything unfamiliar and keep your PC infection-free at the same time. Also, you should keep in mind that in order to be completely sure whether the software you download is safe or not, you can trust legitimate websites only. Their bundles may not come for free but they will definitely save you time, resources and headaches in the future.
Why are these ads dangerous?
At the end of the day, this is just another adware program that doesn’t deviate much from the classic adware pattern. Once it manages to sneakily land on your computer, the IQIYI application takes down your browsers. And by “takes down your browsers” we mean all of them – the virus is compatible with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. After the parasite installs its malicious and highly undesirable extension, it starts to generate commercials. What does that mean? Well, it means even seeing your PC screen will become quite a struggle, let alone actually using the machine to do anything online. The IQIYI infection makes sure to bombard you with discounts, product offers, various deals, best prices, etc. All of them are unwanted and none of them is reliable enough to deserve your click. If you do click, though, even if you do it accidentally, the consequences could be very serious. First possible scenario is landing on some bogus website that offers a fake product, and, ultimately, steals your money. Second possibility is that you hit the malware jackpot and automatically install more parasites. Only this time the infections you find don’t necessarily have to belong to the adware family. They might be a lot more virulent instead. It goes without saying that this is an enormous risk and you should not be willing to take it. Another rather interesting piece of information is the fact the pesky IQIYI virus monitors all of your browsing-related data. Hackers could easily sell it to third parties later on and gain revenue. So to sum up, the parasite’s presence on your computer will leave you baffled, upset, sick of commercials, your machine will be slower than ever and your private information will no longer be private. Enough reasons to get rid of the intruder right away, don’t you think? Luckily, removing the IQIYI virus is not a particularly challenging task so if you decide to uninstall it manually, please follow the instructions below.
