Can’t Remove GenieGamer ads? This page includes detailed ads by GenieGamer Removal instructions!
GenieGamer is a malicious adware application. It poses as a useful and trustworthy tool but don’t let it fool you. It’s neither. It’s a potentially unwanted program, which markets itself as “an exciting gaming portal that offers tons of free games.” Well, that is true only if you consider headaches and grievances ‘exciting,’ because that is what GenieGamer has to offer – issues upon issues. It does not help you in any way but rather incessantly floods you with problems and exploits you at every turn. The PUP wreaks havoc on your system and jeopardizes your personal and financial information. Yes, it not only continuously increases the troubles, you’ll be forced to endure – like frequent system crashes and a slower PC, but also spies on you. It keeps track of your browsing habits and also thorough records your every move. But it doesn’t stop there. Once the tool determines it has collected a sufficient amount of data from you, it proceeds to hand it off to the third parties that published it. That’s right! GenieGamer steals data from you, and then sends it to strangers! Are you willing to stand by as it happens? Are you prepared to gamble with your private life like that? And, for what? You have nothing to gain from the adware’s presence. Nothing but problems and unpleasantness. So, do yourself a favor and protect your personal and financial information from falling into the clutches of strangers with agendas. Do what’s best for you and your system, and get rid of the PUP at once.
How did I get infected with?
GenieGamer uses subtlety and slyness to slither into your computer. It employs every known trick in the book to dupe you into permitting it in. Yes, you read it correctly – permitting. You are the one, who approves the tool’s installment. In fact, all adware are required to ask you whether you agree to install them or not, and unless you comply – no admittance. GenieGamer is no exception. At some point it asked and, evidently, you obliged. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be bombarded with ads “Powered by GenieGamer.” But don’t be too hard on yourself. The application is truly a master in the art of deception. It turns to the old but gold means of infiltration and dupes you into allowing it in without you even realizing it. Its preferred method is through freeware as it offers the easiest access point. That’s because, for reasons unknown, users choose to throw caution to the wind and instead rely on luck. Now, that’s a losing strategy. One, which almost always results in you getting stuck with a cyber infection. Don’t skip through the terms and conditions, but read them! That way you have a better chance at catching a threat as it’s trying to sneak in undetected. Be more thorough! Do your due diligence and don’t give into gullibility and distraction! After all, infections like GenieGamer prey on carelessness. So, don’t provide it.
Why are these ads dangerous?
GenieGamer is an ad-supported, which is why it will continuously bombard you with pop-up advertisements. Its very existence rests on these ads! If the tool is to continue its operations, it has to generate pay-per-click revenue. In other words, the more advertisements you click on, the better for the program. But not for you. For you, it’s bad. Pressing the pop-ups only worsens your predicament. Do you know why? Because each click exposes you to more unwanted malware. How so? Well, it’s rather straightforward. The advertisements, which you’ll be bombarded with each time you surf the web, are immensely unreliable. They’re filled to the brim with risk as they conceal malware. Every click is equivalent to you agreeing to install said malware. So, unless you wish to flood your PC with cyber threats, do your best NOT to press a single pop-up, be it by accident or choice. Now, that may prove a bit difficult since the advertisements that GenieGamer throws your way won’t be random. Oh, no. They’ll be chosen especially for you, and you alone. The application studies you. As was already mentioned, it keeps track of your browsing habits and, by doing so, gets to know you better. It learns what your preferences include, and makes sure to consider them when picking the ‘right’ ads for you. But, we’ll say it again: regardless of how enticing they are, do NOT click them! Keeping in mind everything stated so far, don’t you think it’s best for GenieGamer to be removed from your system as soon as possible? Experts certainly do! So, heed their warning, and delete GenieGamer as soon as it fires its first pop-up ad your way. Your future self will thank you for it.
