You must be sick and tired of seeing numerous adverts signed by Clicknshare.net. We know how you feel. And, yes, we can help you fix your computer. But first, let’s take a moment to explain what you are dealing with. Your computer is infected with the clicknshare.net adware. This parasite is not a full-fledged virus, but a malicious ad-generating program. It has managed to get installed on your PC and is now wreaking havoc on it. This tool is designed to generate revenue via pay-per-click marketing. Basically, for every ad you click on, the owners of the adware will be paid. And so, you will be exposed to numerous commercials. The adware injects adverts on every website you open. Keep in mind that the adware blocks its competitors’ adverts. By doing so, it limits your sources of information. The clicknshare.net utility can also redirect your browser to sponsored websites. Every time you follow a link, additional tabs will open in your web browser. Even your online videos will get paused for commercial breaks. The clicknshare.net adware will ruin your browsing experience. Don’t think that you will get used to the adware. With every passing day, this parasite gets more and more aggressive. You will start to see more and more commercials. You will drown in a sea of advertisements. And on top of that. Your computer will start to underperform. Don’t blame your PC. It is the adware that slows your system down. This small ad-generating program is not a light one. It consumes an enormous amount of computer resources. If you let it remain active for too long, it may cause your OS to freeze and crash frequently. And this may lead to the dreaded Blue Screen of Death. Luckily, there is a silver lining. The clicknshare.net adware is completely removable. You can delete the parasite either manually or automatically. The choice is yours. Follow our detailed guide or download a trustworthy anti-virus app. The sooner you clean your computer, the better!
How did I get infected with?
The clicknshare.net adware did not materialize by magic. As we already explained, this parasite is a computer program. As any other program, the adware needs your permission to be installed. Yet, you don’t remember allowing this tool on board. We are not surprised. The adware tricked you. Such apps often hitch a ride with other programs. Do you remember installing software recently? Does the term “Advanced Installation” ring a bell? This setup option is your best friend. Freeware, shareware and pirated copies of licensed software often become a host of adware parasites. When you are installing such programs, opt for the Advanced option in the Setup Wizard. Under it, you will be presented with a list of all “extra” programs that are about to be installed. Make sure you understand what you are giving your approval to. Read the Terms and Conditions/End User License Agreement (EULA). If you spot anything out of the ordinary, abort the installation immediately. It is up to you to keep your device virus-free. Always choose caution over carelessness.
Why is this dangerous?
The clicknshare.net adware is not a tool you should keep on your computer. This parasite is a menace. It enters your computer unnoticed and takes control over your browser. It can ruin your browsing experience in seconds. It seems that this issue is more an inconvenience than a threat. Unfortunately, every ad displayed by the adware is, in fact, a potential threat. The clicknshare.net utility doesn’t check what is being promoted via its services. Anyone willing to spend some money can use the adware to promote. Hackers included. If you have the misfortune to click on a corrupted advert, you may download malware and viruses directly on your computer. There, of course, is no way to tell which ads are corrupted and which are not. You can try to avoid the commercials, of course. But you will fail. The adware is designed to generate clicks. This utility will trick you into clicking unintentionally. At the most unexpected times, the adware will open pop-ups right under the cursor of your mouse. The furtive app may also redirect you to infected or spam websites. Don’t waste your time on these sponsored pages. They are not verified and are likely to arouse unwarranted expectations. Keeping the clicknshare.net adware on board is not worth the risk. Track this intruder down and delete it on the spot!
