Can’t Remove This page includes detailed Removal instructions!

The platform provides free service which allows you to download and convert online videos. The website also promotes its browser extension which has the same functions. The app, however, has “bonus” functions. It is an advertising tool. It falls under the PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) category. The PUP follows instructions to flood your web browser with ads. It displays in-text and banner ads on every website you visit. You would notice that random website text is turned into hyperlinks. The parasite can also open pop-ups messages and alerts. This PUP gets paid when you click on its adverts. Thus, it has no plans on limiting their number. The more you see, the bigger the chance you click. You might refuse to click, though. In such cases, the PUP takes immediate action. It adapts its strategy and starts browser redirection. This parasite opens new tabs and windows and loads third-party websites in them. The parasite is a complete and utter menace. And the worse thing is that it never stops. It’s never idle. Every time you as much as touch your browser, the PUP covers your screen with coupons and discounts. This parasite gets more and more aggressive with each passing day. The PUP tends to get out of control. Do not wait for this scenario to unfold. Spare yourself many future headaches. Remove the PUP the first chance you get. The sooner it’s gone, the better!

How did I get infected with

If you haven’t installed the extension by yourself, you must be very confused how did it manage to enter your OS. Well, you might not remember it, but you installed it. No, this is not a bad joke. You did it unintentionally. The PUP knows how to manipulate its victims. It hides in torrents, spam emails, and bundles. It lurks in the shadows and waits for you to make a mistake. The thing about PUPs is that these parasites cannot hack your system. They need your permission to get installed. They are bound to ask for permission. So they do, they ask in the sneakiest way possible. If you let your guard down even for a moment, you might install them. Don’t make their job easier. Don’t throw caution to the wind. Always take the time to do your diligence. Don’t visit shady websites. Download software from reliable sources only. And pay close attention to the fine print. More often than not, the apps we download off the web come bundled with bonus software. The extras, however, are often parasites like the PUP. Make sure you deselect all unwanted and suspicious apps. Also, read the terms and conditions. If you notice anything suspicious, abort the installation process immediately!

Why is dangerous?

The PUP is more than a mere annoyance. This pest is quite hazardous. It opens your browser to surveillance and targeted ads! Confused? Well, the PUP gets paid when you click on its adverts. You, however, wouldn’t click on just any advert, would you? To make sure that you cooperate, this parasite customizes its ad selection. It displays ads that are relevant to your browsing activities. It monitors your browsing-related data and bases the ads on the collected information. In other words: it spies on you and uses the collected data against you! Do you think that ends well? You cannot expect the PUP to keep that information confidential. This parasite sells access to it. Anyone willing to pay can use the parasite and its resources. Numerous crooks are more than willing to pay. They use the collected data to create irresistible adverts. The crooks would then use the PUP to push the ads to you. These people show you what you want to see, but when you click, bad things happen. The PUP may redirect you to phony, phishing, and infected websites. This parasite turns you into an easy target. Do not risk falling into an online trap! Clean your system ASAP!
