How did I get infected with?
Adware applications invade your system by preying on your carelessness. They manage to get you to give them the green light, and agree to install them. All while keeping you oblivious. How? Well, they use every known trick in the book. They hide behind corrupted links or sites. Hitch a ride with freeware or spam email attachments. Pretend to be a bogus update. These are the old but gold methods of invasion. Methods, which have proven their effectiveness over the years. For example, the infection leads you to believe you’re updating your Java. But, in actuality, you’re allowing an adware program into your computer. That’s why vigilance is imperative. Always do your due diligence! Don’t rush and give into gullibility. Read the terms and conditions instead of just agreeing to everything in haste. Caution goes a long way, and it saves you a ton of troubles. Choose caution over carelessness. The latter has negative repercussions, while the first helps you avoid them.
Why is this dangerous?
Noobzo is an ad-supported program. If you’re unfamiliar of what that entails, let’s explain. In a nutshell, the tool’s entire existence rests on ad revenue. To continue its operations, it has to generate web traffic and pay-per-click profit. It has to get you to click on as many pop-ups as possible. That’s why the program makes sure, each one you see, counts. Don’t think it floods you with random ads. Oh, no. The infection studies you. It learns what your interests include by monitoring your browsing habits. That way, it knows what sparks your curiosity, and gets you to produce a click. Not until the tool does its homework on you does the waterfall of ads begin. Once that moment comes, brace yourself. Every time you open your browser, a new tab, type in a search, there will be ads. Every online move you make gets intercepted by pop-ups. And, every time you click one, by choice or accident, you make money for the third parties behind Noobzo. But it’s not just that. The ads harbor countless cyber infections. And, a click equals your consent on their install. Yes, by pressing a pop-up, you end up with even more malicious infection. So, be wary! Click NOTHING the tool displays! It only leads to grievances. But those are part of the repercussions, you face with Noobzo. The worst threat you experience has to do with your privacy. The application doesn’t just observe your online activities. It catalogs them. Then, after a while, when it has gathered enough, sends them. To whom? Well, to the people that published them. Strangers with agendas. Are you willing to grant them access to your personal and financial data? Do you think it’s wise to allow these people into your private life? Don’t be naive. Protect yourself and your system. Delete Noobzo as soon as you become aware of its presence.
