How did I get infected with?

Trojans are masterful in the art of deception. More often than not, they slither into your PC undetected. And, they do it, with the help of the old but gold means of invasion. That includes, hiding behind corrupted links or sites. Or, hitching a ride with spam email attachments. And, of course, turning to freeware. Freeware is, arguably, the easiest entry point to your system. That’s because, users tend to be pretty careless when installing freeware. And, that offers the perfect environment for covert infiltration. Instead of taking the time to be thorough, most users throw caution to the wind. They rush, and rely on luck instead of due diligence. They give into naivety, and leave their fate to chance. They choose carelessness over vigilance. That’s a colossal mistake. One, you must NOT make. Not unless, you wish to end up with the Mylobot threat. Or, something even worse. The Web is a dangerous place. Don’t underestimate it. Always be wary, and attentive, when installing anything you get off the web. Tools, updates, whatever. Even a little extra caution goes a long way, and can save you countless troubles. Remember that. Carelessness brings nothing but unpleasantness, and regret.
