You have no idea you gave the green light to a hazardous infection until it decides to reveal itself. More often than not, the application sneaks in undetected by hitching a ride with freeware or hiding behind spam email attachments, corrupted links, or websites. The tool can also pose as a bogus system or program update. Why are these ads dangerous?
TheBlocker is an ad-supported application, which is why is floods you with so many pop-ups. If the tool is to continue its existence, it’s required to generate web traffic and pay-per-click revenue for the third parties that published it. Each ad the program fools you into clicking on is profit for these unknown individuals and helps it proceed with its existence. If the application fails to produce clicks, it ceases to exist. That’s why it leaves nothing to chance! In order to increase its likelihood of success, the program spends some time getting to know you better. Instead of just throwing random ads your way and hoping for the best, TheBlocker studies you. It keeps track of your browsing habits so as to understand what you like and dislike, what appeals to you. When it determines what your preferences include, it selects the “appropriate” ads, and bombards you with them. But no matter how enticing they seem, do NOT click on them! They’re immensely unreliable, and will only lead to further damages. A single click on a single ad inevitably results in you unwillingly agreeing to install more malware. So, do your best to ignore the ads and don’t click on them. Unfortunately, the application doesn’t merely monitor you. It catalogs every move you make, and when it feels it has collected enough data from you, it sends it to the people behind it. After these strangers have it, they can use it as they see fit. Are you going to take such a tremendous risk? Don’t gamble with your personal and financial information! Protect yourself and your system, and get rid of TheBlocker as soon as you possibly can.
