Lucky Search 123 (LuckySearch123) is not a program you’d want to deal with. Even though it appears to be completely and utterly safe, this is a virus. A nasty browser hijacker that will take over your entire online experience. Fortunately, hijackers aren’t the most dangerous type of malware you could have ended up with. Having said that, Lucky Search 123 is still a PC virus. If it spends enough time on board, it will eventually cause you some damage. Are you really a volunteer to try out the parasite’s malicious potential? Do not overlook the huge threat Lucky Search 123 is. Take immediate action instead. You won’t regret it. As soon as the virus gets downloaded, its shenanigans begin. You’ll notice a bizarre extension has been added to your browsers. Obviously, your permission was never required. Cyber parasites’ very last concern is to improve your browsing activity. The reason why this program was developed is actually quite simple. By injecting your browsers with specific, sponsored web links, hackers gain revenue. The plugin added by Lucky Search 123 brings along a great variety of unreliable web links. Furthermore, the program disguises them all as accurate search results. This is nothing but a cheap trickery hackers use to get clicks. Every single click on a sponsored link helps the hijacker’s developers make money. The problem is that these links could lead you to practically all sorts of websites. There are harmful links currently on your PC screen. To make the situation worse, there’s no telling which link is safe and which one isn’t. The only way to make sure you’re not compromising your PC is by avoiding all links generated by Lucky Search 123. You’d be lucky if this program doesn’t cause you further harm. Restrain yourself from clicking ANYTHING displayed by the hijacker as it is highly questionable and deceptive. Lucky Search 123 also modifies your default search engine and preferred browser homepage. Both of them get replaced with the parasite’s malicious domain. By doing so, Lucky Search 123 takes control over all your browsers. They are now hijacked. As you can clearly see, hijackers are beyond irritating and obnoxious. You’re about to witness endless changes in your default browser settings. You might come across additional toolbars as well. Lucky Search 123 generates web traffic to some dubious websites which may or may not be harmless. Don’t take any chances with the virus. All it has in store for you is trouble.
How did I get infected with?
You didn’t download Lucky Search 123 on purpose, did you? That’s not how it usually works. Keep in mind that most cyber parasites travel the Web in silence. You may spend a good while having no clue Lucky Search 123 is on board. One particularly popular technique is called freeware and shareware bundling. In the future, stay away from unverified websites and the illegitimate programs they offer. Always be cautious. For instance, opt for the Advanced or Custom option in the Setup Wizard. If you notice some unwanted intruder attached to the bundle, deselect it. Preventing installation is a lot less problematic than removing malware. Do yourself a favor and pay attention. Another rule of thumb is to check out the Terms and Conditions. Same thing goes for the EULA (End User License Agreement). There might be some term or condition you strongly disagree with. Instead of receiving a terrible surprise later on, be careful. We would also recommend that you delete spam messages and spam email-attachments. More often than not, those are corrupted.
Why is this dangerous?
Lucky Search 123 stops you from surfing the Internet. Thanks to the parasite’s manipulations, you’re unable to find anything online. You get redirected to random, unsafe websites on a daily basis. You may accidentally install more infections before you know it. To prevent that, tackle the hijacker on the spot. Lucky Search 123 leads you to unknown pages and bombards you with sponsored, misleading links. In addition, it could generate fake product deals, offers, pop-up ads and other commercials. Stay away from those as well. Remember, nothing brought to you by a hijacker is to be trusted. As if that wasn’t enough, the Lucky Search 123 Virus could pose a threat to your privacy. This pest monitors your browsing-related information and sends it to crooks. Cyber criminals now have access to your sensitive, private data. It goes without saying how dangerous this is. To delete the hijacker manually, please follow our detailed removal guide down below.
