Remove Fundonald Extension by Weloack.com Virus

Can’t Remove Fundonald ads? This page includes detailed ads by Fundonald Removal instructions!

Today’s article is all about the Fundonald extension (by Weloack.com). If you come across this nasty plugin, know you’re dealing with a virus. Such extensions get added by adware-type infections or PUPs (potentially unwanted programs). Hence, that’s what you have to tackle. The sooner you locate the intruder and uninstall it, the better. Know there is no reason to be tolerating a malicious program. Instead of allowing the situation to get completely out of hand, remove this pest. The adware/PUP doesn’t need your permission to drop its Fundonald extension. Why not? Because PC infections have nothing to do with your preferences. These programs only get developed to serve hackers’ purposes. It goes without saying hackers’ purposes greatly mismatch your own. Keeping their program on board actually helps cyber crooks gain profit. One thing you need to remember – the parasite generates pop-up ads. And you have to stay away from every single one of them in order to prevent further damage. As long as your machine is infected, you will remain a click away from malware. That means you might accidentally download more parasites on your already infected PC. Yes, things could become a lot worse. Immediately after the adware/PUP gets downloaded, its plugin appears. This program relies on the fact you wouldn’t even realize it is on board. Not only does your safety end up compromised but you also remain oblivious to the installation. The infection will use that time to make modifications and to cause you damage. Apart from the Fundonald plugin, you may get to witness some additional toolbars or other changes. Not a single one of them involves your consent or authorization. Hence, it’s safe to say you’re no longer in control of your browsers. Crooks are. They take advantage of your PC system to gain revenue which can’t possibly end well for you. For one thing, your default browser settings keep on changing behind your back. Secondly, the Fundonald plugin injects your browsers with irritating, useless pop-up ads. Thanks to the virus, you’re now bombarded with various advertisements in various shapes. That includes pop-up ads, pop-under ads, banner ads, interstitial ads, video ads. There is no getting rid of commercials unless you delete the adware/PUP. Are you willing to procrastinate? The more time this nuisance manages to spend on board, the more harmful it becomes. The parasite spies on your browsing-related information and constantly redirects you. It also causes a poor PC performance so your machine freezes and crashes on a daily basis. Long story short, this pest has to go.

How did I get infected with?

The most plausible scenario involves freeware or shareware bundles. Hackers are perfectly aware that many PC users rush the installation process. That’s how many people end up agreeing to download some “bonus” infection hiding in the bundle. Unless you check out the software in advance, you might compromise your own security. Stay away from unverified bundles as the programs in there could be malicious. You only need one moment of negligence to give green light to an infection. The adware/PUP was probably attached to some software bundle that you didn’t pay enough attention to. Don’t make the same mistake twice and always opt for the Custom option in the Setup Wizard. That will guarantee you no additional programs will sneak onto your machine. Be careful and you could be more than positive it will pay off. Avoid skipping the Terms and Conditions as well as the EULA (End User License Agreement). Make an effort to prevent virus infiltration because it’s your job to keep your computer virus-free. Otherwise, it would also be your responsibility to deal with the pesky parasite that gets installed.

Why is this dangerous?

Now that the Fundonald extension is present, you’re unable to surf the Web. This tricky add-on generates a huge parade of sponsored pop-up ads. As mentioned already, the commercials are only part of your life to help hackers gain profit. Your online activities as well as your safety remain out of the picture. Take no chances with these commercials because many of them could turn out to be corrupted. If you open the wrong ad, you will get redirected to some unreliable pages filled with malware. Instead of testing out the limits of your luck, avoid the pop-up ads displayed by the adware/PUP. Please follow our detailed manual removal guide down below.
