The adware is not harmless. This parasite is programmed with one true goal — to generate revenue for its owners. Your security and well-being are not part of the deal. The adware monitors your browsing-related activities and uses the collected data as a base for ad-targeting. Once it has a sufficient amount of data, it initiates an aggressive ad bombardment. The adware drowns its victims in a sea of advertisements. It injects ads on every website you open, redirects your web traffic to sponsored platforms, and even pauses your videos for commercial breaks. You cannot escape the adverts. Every time you as much as touch your browser, numerous pop-ups cover your screen. That is not even the worst of it. The Unalytics adware gets more and more aggressive with each passing day. How did I get infected with?

The Unalytics adware did not hack your computer. This parasite uses tricks to lure you into downloading and installing it unintentionally. It hides behind software bundles, fake updates, and misleading advertisements. Always make sure you know what you are giving your approval to. Always opt for the Advanced/Custom option in the Setup Wizard. Under it, you will be given the opportunity to deselect all unwanted apps that otherwise will be installed automatically. Deselect all extras. If you truly needed such software, you would have downloaded it by yourself. This is your computer, you decide what to be installed on it. Don’t let others make this decision for you! Also, do not skip the Terms and Conditions/End User License Agreement (EULA). If you don’t have the time to read the whole document, use an online EULA analyzer to scan it. If you spot anything out of the ordinary, abort the installation immediately. Do not let parasites like the Unalytics adware trick you ever again!

Anyone willing to spend some money can use this utility. All sorts of crooks do. They use the adware as a way to reach numerous potential victims. The crooks use the data collected by the adware to prepare customized marketing campaigns. They show you what you want to see and what you are afraid to see. They use psychological tricks to lure you into clicking. And when you do, bad things happen. The Unalytics adware is more likely to redirect you to scam websites than to legitimate ones. Numerous online schemes are run through this parasite. IT support scam, fake online stores, fake news pages, etc. If you are extremely unlucky, you may end up on an infected page too.
