AARTEMIS UNINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

Aartemis is an advertisement based malware, in short, and adware, which corrupts your system in more than one ways. A Potentially Unwanted Program or PUP, usually meddles with your internet browsers, changes the default search engine and the default homepage, and locks the settings to ensure they are not changed by the user in future. Aartemis virus ensures that its installation and operation goes undetected, while it installs in the background when you install a 3^rd party freeware. Remove aartemis.com from Google Chrome:

1. Start Google Chrome, press Alt+F and select Settings.
2. Under On Startup mark Open a specific page or set of pages and click Set pages.
3. Overwrite/remove the default URL with what you desire and then click OK.
4. Under Appearance mark Show Home button, click Change and repeat step 3.
5. Under Search click Manage search engines.
6. Locate the search engine you wish to remove, click X on the URL and hit Done.

Remove aartemis.com from Mozilla Firefox:

1. Start Firefox and click the search provider icon placed on the search box.
2. From the appeared menu select Manage Search Engines.
3. Select the undesirable search provider, click Remove and then OK.
4. Now simultaneously tap Alt+T for the Tools menu and click Options.
5. Click the General tab and overwrite/remove the Home Page URL. Hit OK.

Remove aartemis.com from Internet Explorer:

1. Start IE and simultaneously tap keys Alt+T for the Tools menu.
2. Select Manage Add-ons to open a new utility.
3. From the menu on your left select Search Providers.
4. Choose a new default provider and Remove the unwanted one. Click Close.
5. Tap Alt+T again but this time select Internet Options.
6. Click the General tab, overwrite/remove the Home Page and click OK.
