StartJoy New Tab doesn’t just pop p on your PC. It cannot enter your system unless you approve it. That’s right. The tool is required to seek your permission before it installs itself, and if you don’t agree – no admittance. But don’t think it just openly comes out and asks you. Oh, no. The program uses guile and deceit to fool you into approving it in without you even realizing it. It’s not shy about using every known trick in the book. Its usual antics involves hitching a ride with corrupting links or sites, hiding behind spam email attachments or freeware or pretending to be a bogus update. For example, you may be utterly convinced you’re updating your Java or Adobe Flash Player, but you’d be wrong. In actuality, you’ll be permitting the installment of a dangerous cyber threat. If you wish to prevent that from happening, and avoid getting stuck with such a hazardous infection, be more vigilant! Don’t rush and don’t throw caution to the wind! Nasty applications like StartJoy prey on carelessness, so don’t provide it. Keep in mind that even a little extra attention goes a long, long way.
Why are these ads dangerous?
StartJoy New Tab may try to fool you that it’s useful by throwing around claims that it “enhances search experience,” or that it allows you to “get links to watch episodes legally from your PC.” Well, those are simply not true. The same goes for every other promise the tool makes. It’s hazardous and malicious and does NOT have your best interest in mind. It’s designed to help the people, who unleashed it onto the web, and only them. The application exploits you in any way it possibly can so as to generate profits for these people and, thus, ensure its existence. That’s right. StartJoy is an ad-supported application. In other words, if it wishes to continue its operations, the program has to produce pay-per-click revenue for the people behind it. And, it does that with the myriads of pop-up ads it throws your way. Each one you’re foolish enough to press is good news for those individuals, but terrible news on your behalf. That’s because the pop-ups, which will plague you incessantly, are bundled with malware. And, a click is the equivalent of you unknowingly agreeing to install said malware. So, if you wish to avoid that, make sure to ignore the ads and NOT press a single one. That may prove a bit difficult as they’ll show up constantly. Each and every time you browse the web, you’ll be bombarded with advertisements. Not long after they appear, they’ll begin causing troubles. For example, due to their continuous display, your computer’s performance will slow down to a crawl, and your system will crash frequently. So, apart from a major nuisance, the ads also bring more problems your way. Add to that, the security threat, which StartJoy places upon you, and it should truly be no question that you need to remove the pesky program. Delete it now, and save yourself a ton of troubles and headaches, which you’ll, otherwise, be forced to deal with. Ignore the false promises and disregard the sugary marketing layer, StartJoy brings no positives your way. Delete it now.
