Why are these ads dangerous?
If you took time to read SearchBetter’s Privacy Policy, you would have noticed the part where it says that non-personally identifiable information will be collected by the application. It is great that no personal details are recorded by the application, however, it is still not a good idea to let such questionable software keep track of anything you do on the web. In the Privacy Policy it is also stated that the collected information will be used to improve the service and to optimize users’ online experience. In other words, the recorded data will be used to determine your preferences and based on them you will be presented with more reliable ads.
