Can’t Remove Paradiskus? This page includes detailed Paradiskus Removal instructions!
The Paradiskus browser extension is a terrible tenant. Once it calls your browser “home”, expect problems. Security experts have classified this malware as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program). The PUP uses trickery to enter your machine unnoticed and wreaks havoc in no time. It takes over your favorite web browser and alters its settings. The PUP replaces both your default search engine and homepage. No matter how persistent you are, you cannot undo these changes. Once your browser’s settings are modified, the PUP starts an aggressive ad bombardment. The parasite injects various advertisements on every website you open. Banners, sliding panels, hyperlinks, in-text ads. You name it. Every time you click on an ad provided by the hijacker, its owners get paid. So, it is in their best interest to expose you to appealing advertisements. To select the most tempting ads, the hijacker uses a nasty trick. It monitors your browsing related data and uses the collected information as a base for better ad-targeting. Thus, if you enter “sneakers” into some search engine, the hijacker will display ads for sports shoes. It sounds great, but there is a catch. The hijacker has no security mechanism. Anyone willing to pay can use it to promote. Hackers included. They use the hijacker to reach potential victims. Bear this in mind the next time you see an irresistible offer. It might as well be malicious. Luckily, you don’t need to live in fear. You can remove the Paradiskus PUP. We have provided a manual removal guide below this article. If you prefer automated solutions, you can also use a trustworthy anti-virus app. Choose your method and act! The sooner, the better!
How did I get infected with Paradiskus?
The Paradiskus PUP did not appear by itself. To enter your machine, this parasite needs your permission. What it doesn’t need is to ask you openly. The nasty parasite uses camouflage to trick you into installing it unintentionally. It hitches a ride with other software and uses misleading language to trick you. The so-called software bundling method is commonly used by software developers. They attach extra apps to the payload files of their programs. If you rush through the installation process of such a bundle, you will end up with more programs that you’ve anticipated. To prevent this, opt for the Advanced option in the setup wizard. Under it, you will be presented with a list of all additional programs that are about to be installed. You can deselect the extras and still install the app you originally planned to set up. Other malware distribution methods you should keep an eye out for are the good old spam emails, torrents, and bogus updates. A little extra caution can prevent these techniques from succeeding. So, don’t be lazy! Always do your due diligence!
Why is Paradiskus dangerous?
The Paradiskus PUP can ruin your browsing experience in seconds. The parasite uses aggressive marketing to turn you from a visitor into a customer. Its goals are to make as much money for its owners as possible. Your comfort and well-being were never even considered as part of the deal. The PUP doesn’t vitrify the ads it displays so freely. All sorts of crooks use the app to reach potential victims. An unverified advertisement will arouse unwarranted expectations at best. At worst, it will redirect you to an infected website. Do not panic! You are far more likely to get redirected to scam pages. Numerous online frauds are promoted via the PUP. IT support scams and fake online stores are just the most common frauds. The crooks create new schemes every day. You cannot prepare for all of them. So, be very careful what you do online. If an offer looks too good to be true, it probably isn’t. With the Paradiskus PUP on board, you are a target. The people who use the PUP as an advertising platform can access the information Paradiskus collected about you. Some of these people are criminals. They know how to use the data to lure you into impulsive actions. Do not play with your luck! Remove the Paradiskus PUP as soon as possible.
