How did I get infected with?
As you would obviously never install such a dubious program on your device, Maximum Maker takes the initiative and adds itself. Hackers usually attach adware programs to other freeware so the viruses sneak in without permission. Bundles could serve as an extremely convenient installation method as they allow Maximum Maker and its equals to enter your machine in complete silence. This stealthy technique could be easily prevented, however, many PC users underestimate the threat and don’t take adequate measures on time. Most people don’t want to waste time reading the Terms and Conditions when in actuality protecting your computer from a virus beforehand will take a lot less time than getting rid of one afterwards. Always opt for the “Advanced” or “Custom” option in the Installation Wizard and make sure you’re entirely in control of the software you download. If you spot some additional rogue application like Maximum Maker, simply deselect it. Another advice we should give you is to stay away from all kinds of third-party web links or spam email-attachments as chances are, they are probably corrupted.
Why are these ads dangerous?

Being compatible with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, it injects all three with its endless parade of pesky advertisements and you will not see the end of it. Pop-ups, pop-unders, banners and interstitials are just a small part of the commercial this parasite will bombard you with. Not only are they intrusive though. The ads are also very dangerous. Maximum Maker is an ad-supported program and even according to its official website it will redirect you to some sponsored pages. The problem is though, its developers firmly refuse to take responsibility of the eventual damage you will be exposed to. Obviously, that means some of the ads might be corrupted and will lead you to compromised websites filled with virulent infections. Unless you’re deliberately trying to make your situation worse, avoid all commercials. Keep in mind that the Maximum Maker parasite has access to your browsing history, cookies, bookmarks, search queries, etc. and could use that sensitive information for marketing purposes. To top it all, the virus will also constantly try to trick you into installation more questionable content. There is only so much abuse a computer can take so your device might occasionally start crashing and freezing. In addition, your Internet connection could experience some difficulties as well.
