Adcloud is a potentially unwanted adware program. It’s an ad-supported tool that bombards you with pop-ups incessantly. Each and every time you try to go online, you’ll be interrupted by an entire myriad of ads. But this disturbance will do more than merely infuriate you. It will also lead to some severe repercussions. Due to the pop-ups continuous appearance, your system will start to crash frequently, and your computer’s performance will slow down to a crawl. But the issues don’t stop there. Adcloud also presents you with a severe malware threat and a grave security risk. All of the pop-ups the tool throws your way are immensely unreliable. But even the unwanted malware pales in comparison to the immense privacy jeopardy the program places upon you. After it enters your system, the application starts spying on you in an attempt to steal your personal and financial information. Once it has, because it WILL inevitably succeed, it provides it to the third parties that support it. Are you ready to hand your private life to strangers with unclear, but potentially malicious, agendas? Don’t risk it! Delete Adcloud as soon as you can! It’s for the best.

How did I get infected with?

Adcloud is a master of deceit. The tool not only manages to dupe you into approving its installation, but it also keeps its presence a secret from you until it decides otherwise. The program usually reveals its existence with the beginning of the waterfall of pop-ups, and until then lurks somewhere in the corners of your system. More often than not, the application sneaks in undetected by hitching a ride with freeware. It can also use spam email attachments, corrupted links, or sites as a shield to hide behind, or pretend to be a bogus update. For example, it leads you to believe that you’re updating, say, your Java or Adobe Flash Player, while, in actuality, you’re installing adware. If you wish to keep Adcloud away from your system, just try to be more careful. Don’t give into naivety and haste, and remember that a little extra attention can save you a lot of problems and headaches.

Why are these ads dangerous?

Adcloud is presented as a useful tool that assists you in increasing your savings. Doesn’t that sound incredible? Supposedly, the application helps you save money by providing you with various coupons and news of all the best deals and bargains. But there’s a catch. The program presents you with this astonishing information via its pop-ups, and to take advantage of it, you have to click on them. Don’t do that! As was already stated, that only leads to unwilling malware installs. Ignore the ads no matter how appealing they seem, and you’ll avoid getting stuck with hazardous, malevolent tools. However, that won’t be the biggest concern this PUP will bring your way. Seeing as how the program starts spying on you from the second it sneaks in, it severely jeopardizes your privacy. The application keeps track of your browsing activities and catalogs every move you make online. When it determines that it has gathered enough data from you, it proceeds to send it to the unknown third parties behind it. Think on that for a minute. Unknown individuals will have access to your personal and financial details, and will be free to use them as they see fit. You can’t do anything to stop them! To prevent Adcloud from causing you all of this grief, make sure to delete it immediately after the first ad pops up. You won’t regret it.
